Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Offers Outstanding Scholarships for Two-Year Students

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program annually awards approximately 35 scholarships to students currently attending community colleges or two-year institutions and planning to transfer to four- year institutions. Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarships are awarded exclusively to community college and two-year college students.

The scholarship awards will provide funding for tuition, room and board, books, and other required fees for the pursuit of a bachelor's degree, generally two years. The amount and duration of awards will vary by student based on the cost of attendance and the length of the program as well as other scholarships or grants received. The maximum available per student is $30,000 per year. The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program is the largest private scholarship initiative in United States history for community college students interested in pursuing four-year degrees.

Candidates must be nominated by the faculty representative at their two-year institution. The deadline for nominations is early February. For questions or for more information, see the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation web site.
